How predictable. No actress in Hollywood can surpass Yeong-ae Lee.

hmm...  not sure if this movie is a good choice... its pretty dark!

Charlize was good in Monster,  so I think she could pull it off... but then again its almost too close! :-P

I'm no big fan of remakes and really don't see the need to remake Sympathy for Lady Vengance.  Theron definitely is a poor choice.

Charlize Theron? Noooooo! An asian actress is better.

i love this movie. and i have no problem with remakes -- there have been plenty of asian remakes of american movies -- as long as they lend their own personal flavor, it's fine.

and in terms of hollywood remakes, i beg to differ. what about "The Magnificent Seven", "The Departed", and "Street Fighter" (okay, I'm kidding with the last one). Besides, Danny Boyle is a fantastic director and just the person you want to remake this film.

why do they have to do remakes? not even one hollywood remake has been even close to the original... well.. when hey make remakes old usa movies, then it works, but asian movies should be left alone.. that's my opinion anyhow ;)
